My suggestion for Passpack is ...

OpenID provider

Has there been any consideration of Passpack becoming an OpenID provider itself?
I use OpenID for the sites that need it, but I store my password for it in Passpack so ultimately to use my OpenID I have to go to Passpack anyway. It would save a step if I can simply use my Passpack account as an OpenID and login to my sites without the extra step.

We’ve toyed with this idea in the past, and have discussed it again recently. For the time being, we’re going to continue to accept OpenID, but not become a provider. There are already many (perhaps too many?) out there already.

This may change with time, but for now we’re going to decline.

I need passpack to access all of my open id's (except clavid+ubikey) anyway. If passpack provided openId natively, I'd ditch the rest.
